Bella Voce to perform

ORIGINALLY PUBLISHED ON 09/19/2005
Be there for the Brenau University Bella Voce concert 7:30 p.m., Monday, May 2 in Hosch Theatre, John S. Burd Center for the Performing Arts on Academy St., where the university's newest choir will hit the high notes with "Folk Songs of the World."

With American folk songs, Italian, Serbian, Jamaican, Korean, Israeli, and Pacific Island songs, native instruments and native dances, there is sure to be something for everybody at this free and open-to-the-public event.

This is the first full year for Bella Voce, an ensemble made up of students, faculty and staff at Brenau under the direction of M. J. Montague, Ph.D., assistant professor of music.

Following the concert there will be a reception with food and drink in the Burd Center lobby.
