The Brenau team of nine has chosen six
at-risk teens from local high schools and paired each with a SIFE
("Students in Free Enterprise") member,
who will act as the teen's mentor for the year.
"The SIFE team intends to give the
at-risk teens all of the necessary tools, resources, and experience to
acquire the basic knowledge of the business world," said Bill Haney, Dean,
Department of Business and Mass Communication. "The at-risk teens can then
use this knowledge and experience to get a job or even start their own
business." |

their mentees include etiquette and table manners, how to dress
appropriately for work and interviews, how to write a résumé and cover
letter, conversation skills, and the financial aspects of running a
business.
