Brenau University Golden Tigers 12-member crew team are off
to make Brenau history April 23-24, when they compete in the Oak Ridge
Scholastic and Dogwood Regattas - and enter a single sculling event for
the first time.
The single scull athlete is Kelly Sweigert, an
occupational therapy major from Duluth, Ga., a team captain who rows in
both team boats and sculling shells.
More than 150 rowers from the southeast are set to
attend the regattas, where more than 30 teams will compete in the two-day
events. |
