Brenau University's Alpha Rho chapter of Kappa Pi –
an international honorary art fraternity – initiated 20 students Tuesday,
April 12 .
Criteria for invitation to Kappa Pi membership include a
minimum of 12 credit hours in art courses; a minimum of 2.5 overall GPA
(grade point average) and a 3.25 GPA or better in art courses and a
recommendation from program directors of demonstrated responsibility and
dedication.
Kappa Pi chapters are frequently involved in
service-related activities for the art department. Members are eligible
for fraternity scholarships and are entitled to wear Kappa Pi cords during
commencement ceremonies.
