Brenau University offers a comprehensive financial aid program for qualified students who demonstrate a need for assistance in order to attend. Your eligibility for aid is determined by analyzing certain documents you submit to Financial Aid Office. If you're a United States citizen or permanent resident, you may apply for financial aid by filling out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Brenau University Application for Financial Aid. You must complete all admissions requirements and be fully accepted for admission before financial aid can be awarded. If you are permitted to register under conditional enrollment for your first term until all admissions requirements are met, you are not eligible for aid for that term.

Financial aid applications are generally processed on a rolling basis. If you want to be considered for institutional grants and some types of state aid, however, your financial aid file must be complete by May 1 in order to have priority consideration for those funds. When those types of funds are exhausted, deadlines will be enforced when processing applications for Pell Grants and federal student loan programs. The deadline for each semester will be approximately one month prior to the beginning date of the semester and will be published in the Schedule of Courses and in the Brenau University Application for Financial Aid.
